Well it appears as though the fires caused no lasting damage.

I suppose that is all for the best. Though the fact that we seem to have no fire department could be cause for concern. In normal circumstances I would most likely sugest forming a volunteer ...department of some type. However I doubt very much that would be successful here.

Yes, quite. Even the drones in my household seem to have reverted back to their usual docile, a word which here means, not trying to attack me, behaviour

Yes, Arthur, Tiffany and I are all safe, though Arthur suffered some burns from the acid rain.

I must wonder why they take things away if they're only going to return them later.

I wondered that myself. Especially since the things taken from me would be no use to anyone else, or so I believe.

Perhaps it is their thought that if they 'reward' us, we will be more cooperative.
